Fruit

Tears fell from her face, like the leaves from the apple tree at the back of the house. The fruits of her labour were in vain. To her, in that moment, everything was ruined. To him, sitting just down the bench, it was most beautiful and expressive artwork he’d ever seen.

Blue – sky, glimmering, sea, calm, peaceful.

Green – light, spring like. Full of hope and renewal. Positive.

Pink – fizzing and bright

Red – comfort, hugs, love.

Orange – embers in the fire, radiating warmth. Sunset at the end of a warm summers evening spent with friends.

White – a blank page. Whatever I want the adventures ahead to be.
