As with many things in life, on the surface or at first glance things can often look lovely, calm and “normal”. However, under the surface or at closer inspection there is lots going on, not all under our control. Things may be messy, may look and feel different from how they used to, or even how we may want them to.
When we’re on the medical treadmill that saves us, we often long not to have go for appointments. Once we’re off it and the appointments stop, it can feel scary and uncertain. The signpost reflects both the quandary most of us experience as to where do we go now, and also having to make decisions for ourselves again, after many were made for us. How do we move forwards?
